Accessible Rivers, Parks, Forests, Trails, and Communities! 

Partners include:
National Park Service – Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Community Assistance (NPS-RTCA), WVU-CED, WVATS, LiveAbility WV, HOH,  WV Rivers Coalition, The Nature Conservancy, Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area, WV TRAIL, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, WV DNR, WV State Parks, Future Generations, and many more...

 The ARPFTC project...
Collects data identifying and mapping ADA/ABA compliant Accessible infrastructure and Adaptive Friendly opportunities, assists People With Disabilities (PWDs) to have greater opportunities to discover accessible locations, facilities, programs, and features within the community,  improves Quality of Life through Building the Outdoor Accessible Economy and more Livable communities, and enables people of all ages and abilities more easily recreate and enjoy outdoor spaces.

Readily Removable Barriers impeding Access   (to be removed / improved)  
Future Opportunities    (for building additional Adaptive opportunities and Accessible Infrastructure)

Distribute
Accessibility Improvement Tool Kits, Technologies, and Training assisting volunteers and partners
Inventory Accessible infrastructure, current Barriers to Access, and to effectively
advocate and provide free resources assisting future partners (businesses, government, orgs, etc.)
to make Necessary Improvements

Scale
Recruit and Train new Volunteers and Partners to grow the project

Access On The Go (WV On The Go) Community (ADA/ABA) Accessibility Improvement Project! (April 2013-Present)  

Improving ADA/ABA compliance, business, government, organization, and overall community Accessibility, and Adaptive Recreation opportunities, enabling People with Disabilities (PWDs) to have equal access to goods and services, improved quality of life, expanded opportunities, and helping Public Accommodations (establishments providing goods or services to the public) grow and improve profitability through better serving the large and lucrative Accessible Market
